I find roses challenging to photograph: their delicacy and subtlety, their lightness and texture … they’re hard things to capture.

And then there’s the light, the stillness (or otherwise) of the air, the camera angle to ensure an uncluttered background, the aperture …

I can only keep trying to get all the elements aligned.
