I’m officially/formally learning about photography and each week we’re given three words to interpret. One of those words this week was ‘step’.
Here’s my interpretation (with thanks to my wonderful model, Tim).

With four older brothers, little Miss Izzy is a real attention-seeker. All she has to do is squeak and she has an audience of doting brothers ready to do what they can to entertain her. No wonder she’s such a happy baby.

This concludes my little series of little (and big) personalities. It was great to have ‘models’ to practice my portraiture on, but as they’ve all gone home, I’ll have to think of something else to photograph.
Eight-year old Ronan has a cheeky personality. And a beautiful smile. His caring nature has shone through since his baby sister arrived, and he loves nothing more than to make her laugh.

Today I start a little series of little personalities.
Actually, I’m starting with a three-year old with a BIG personality!

We spent the morning playing with light and light sources …

I came across Lily quite by accident, and I knew from the moment I saw her that I wanted to photograph her.
And so I did.

I thought it might be timely to add a reminder about my 100 Strangers Project here.
It is going slowly, much more slowly than I intended it to, but I’ve just added a few more strangers, and there are still some more to come … so don’t forget to bookmark the site and check it out, or you can go there and follow me so that you get a notification about updates whenever I add more strangers.
Here are some other strangers that I can’t add to the project, but I thought worth sharing anyway!
Check out my new photography project … it’s called 100 Strangers and between now and the end of the year I will take and post images of 100 strangers to my (brand new) 100 Strangers blog.
