This image was one I included in an exhibition I had in Wynyard a few years ago. A woman walked into the space, took the framed print off the wall and said to the startled person behind the counter ‘I’ll have this one please’. A very quick sale!

This rose from the backyard in Burnie is a very early shot when I was still new to photography but it remains one of my favourites.

I thought a burst of colour from the archive might brighten my mood, and perhaps yours too.

This image captures my mood perfectly: jittery, scratchy, edgy, unsettled, unbearable, uncomfortable.

Let’s hope tomorrow brings a sense of calm.
I’m a long way from the cold and greyness of Melbourne … but this produce calls Lygon St to mind.
