One rainy morning (and let’s face it, there are plenty of them in Melbourne) and this plant poked out its tongue to gather some water.

A spring flower to brighten your day. This was taken one cloudy Sunday morning …

The arum lily … also known as the funeral flower.

I’ve not been out and about much lately, so this flower is from the archive. This was shot in the ‘studio’ (aka the spare room with lights squished in where we can fit them).

Things are beginning to look brighter.

I love window light!
Lots of creamy yellow-ness in the front garden today. Yes, Mum, the rose has finally sprung open.

We had four seasons today – one minute it was fine, the next it was hailing. Then the wind would howl, a roll of thunder, and torrential rain.
Then the sun came out again.

My Faces of Melbourne series has continued on Instagram (Sharon on Instagram if you’re on Insta) but I thought I’d share this face here on my blog too.
This is my favourite face!
